1. About us

Supercells (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an online retailer of new and refurbished smartphones, laptops, and accessories, operating at supercells.co.za and delivering nationwide across South Africa. We are an online-only business with no physical storefront.

2. Products

We sell both brand-new and professionally refurbished devices. Refurbished devices are clearly marked as such, graded to our AAA standard, battery-verified at 95%+ health, fully tested (screen, buttons, cameras, connectivity, cosmetic condition), unlocked, and factory data-wiped before listing — see individual product pages for full condition details.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate, but errors can occur. If we discover a pricing or listing error after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you before processing the order, and you may cancel with a full refund if you’re not happy to proceed at the corrected price.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT. We accept:

  • Direct EFT
  • PayFast (card payments and Instant EFT)

We do not accept cash on delivery. Payment must be received in full before an order is dispatched.

4. Delivery

We offer free delivery nationwide across South Africa via The Courier Guy, with a typical delivery time of 2–4 working days. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by courier delays outside our control.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect your order on arrival — see our Refund & Returns Policy for what to do if something arrives damaged or incorrect.

5. Order acceptance and cancellation

Your order is an offer to purchase; we accept it once payment is confirmed and we dispatch (or confirm) the order. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example, where stock has run out, a pricing error occurred, or we suspect fraudulent activity — in which case you’ll receive a full refund.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, Supercells’ liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of profit) arising from use of a product purchased from us. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, images, logos, and design — belongs to Supercells or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, without prejudice to any right you have to refer a dispute to the National Consumer Commission or another applicable ombud/regulator.
